Job summary

Spring EQ is seeking a data-centric professional to join our analytics team in Philadelphia in a hybrid role. You will analyze mortgage origination and servicing data, build dashboards, and produce insights that shape origination, wholesale, underwriting, and servicing decisions.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience, a degree in a relevant field, and strong SQL/Tableau skills. Proficiency in Python or other BI tools is a plus, and a US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist, ideally in mortgage origination or servicing.
  • Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Tableau, proficiency in Excel and other BI tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to connect data insights to business outcomes and influence decisions.
  • Familiarity with mortgage origination workflows (CRM, loan origination, underwriting, servicing) preferred.
  • Exposure to forecasting, predictive modeling, and Python is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with Python, SAS, or R for advanced analysis is desirable.
  • Must have current, unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Ability to commute to Philadelphia, PA 19104 for hybrid work.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Communicate findings clearly to teammates and stakeholders.
  • Support forecasting and predictive modeling efforts.
  • Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Tableau and SQL to support business decisions, highlight risks, and surface opportunities.
  • Design and maintain data workflows that support analysis and reporting.
  • Partner with business teams to understand goals and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Perform deep-dive analysis on pull-through, turn time, and other KPIs for Sales and Marketing campaigns.
  • Help drive strategy and shape decisions through well-presented analytical work.
  • Use modern AI tools and automation to improve efficiency and reduce repetitive manual work.
