Job summary

Capital City Bank's Capital City Home Loans division seeks a Mortgage Consultant in Duluth (Sugarloaf Office). This on-site, full-time role focuses on pro-actively marketing loan products, building a professional client network, and delivering exceptional service from origination to close.

You will analyze financial data, advise on loan options, maintain knowledge of lending programs and policies, and comply with HMDA and SAFÉ requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college required. Minimum of 1-year residential mortgage lending experience with a focus on generating self-sourced business.
• Verifiable, established network of referral business including Real Estate professionals and other centers of influence.

Responsibilities

• Markets and promotes Capital City Home Loans financial products to their business community including builders/developers, real estate brokers, financial institutions, friends, and family.
• Oversees loan process from origination to close and provides on-going communication to clients and business partners.
• Collects and analyzes financial documentation and advises clients on lending options.
• Recommends appropriate loan programs based on borrower needs and financial circumstances.
• Ensures loan applications are complete, legible, and detailed prior to submission.
• Obtains necessary loan documentation and provides complete package to processors.
• Develops business referral networks through networking, prospecting, and community involvement.
• Participates in required training and adheres to bank policies and HMDA requirements.
