Job summary

Agility360 is seeking a Mortgage Compliance Specialist to help drive regulatory adherence for a leading financial institution. The contract-to-hire role focuses on building strong CMS controls and proactive risk mitigation in mortgage operations.

The candidate should bring 2+ years of regulatory compliance experience, mortgage lending knowledge, and strong communication skills to interact with leadership and risk committees.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, or a related financial services environment.
• Knowledge of consumer lending and mortgage compliance regulations such as TILA, RESPA, ECOA, FCRA, HPA, FDPA.
• Experience reviewing policies, procedures, controls, and loan documentation for compliance adherence.

Responsibilities

• Analyze compliance-related data, reports, and processes to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
• Provide guidance on regulatory requirements, bank policies, risk assessments, issue management, and compliance best practices.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and all lines of defense to support compliance initiatives and regulatory commitments.
• Identify root causes of compliance concerns and recommend practical solutions to strengthen controls and reduce risk.
• Monitor remediation efforts and corrective action plans to ensure compliance issues are effectively resolved.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of compliance controls and recommend enhancements where needed.
• Prepare clear, concise reports and communicate findings to management, business leaders, and risk committees.
• Support regulatory examinations, policy reviews, monitoring activities, and ongoing compliance program improvements.
