D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Loan Closer to ensure timely and accurate closing of a wide range of mortgage loans. You will process pre-closing checks, input essential data into the loan system, and work closely with settlement agents to finalize documents and funding.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of closing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position requires travel and overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office and e-mail.

Responsabilités

• Review pre-closing documents for guideline compliance.
• Input closing data in loan operating system.
• Draw and release closing documents to the settlement agent.
• Review closing conditions and finalize all signatures.
• Authorize funding of the loan.
• Assist branch with closing-related questions.
• Support other closers when volume requires.
• Resolve post-closing issues when needed.
• Maintain professional and ethical conduct toward customers.
