Job summary

The Savings Bank (Circleville, OH) is seeking a Mortgage Closing Processor to oversee the closing and post-closing process, ensuring accuracy and completeness. You will coordinate closing dates, verify fees, prepare closing documents and disclosures, and ensure TRID compliance.

You will also support post-closing activities to meet investor requirements and serve as a back-up to the Loan Processor when needed. Strong attention to detail and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience closing and/or processing conventional, FHA, VA and FNMA loans.
• Knowledge of Reg B (ECOA), Reg C (HMDA), Reg X (TRID) and Reg Z (TILA) preferred.
• Detail orientated to review information and documents for accuracy.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, collaboration, and organization skills.
• Ability to prioritize and effectively manage time to meet deadlines.
• Experience with Mortgage and/or Consuming Lending Software preferred.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Close and set closing dates with title companies and borrowers; ensure conditions are satisfied.
• Validate all lender and third-party fees and disbursements; prepare and send closing documents and disclosures; ensure TRID wait period compliance.
• Coordinate with banks, investors, real estate professionals, and partners; communicate closing status as needed.
• Serve as back-up to Loan Processor to advance loans through the pipeline when needed.
• Post-closing: ensure property data accuracy, comply with Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac requirements; deliver files according to investor policies.
• Verify and deliver all required documents; assist in audit responses and resolve discrepancies.
