Job summary

First Community Mortgage in Salado, TX seeks a Mortgage Branch Sales Manager to lead a loan origination team, develop relationships with real estate agents and builders, and drive production. This role encompasses managing territory, training staff, and presenting to clients.

The position requires 5+ years of mortgage origination outside a call center, knowledge of VA, FHA and conventional programs, and the ability to work from a home office with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of mortgage origination experience outside a call center with an active book of business.
• Knowledge of VA, FHA and conventional loan programs.
• Experience with Ellie Mae mortgage origination and processing software.
• Self-motivated and capable of working from a home office with limited supervision.
• Ability to review and understand credit reports.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize.
• Must pass background investigation and work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Originate high quality loans meeting FCMC guidelines.
• Develop relationships with local real estate agents and builders.

• Develop contacts with banks' partner store management teams.
• Take customer loan applications and pull credit.
• Conduct presentations such as First Time Home Buyer seminars.

• Formulate and implement sales strategies to elevate mortgage loan production and meet revenue goals.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the loan origination team and provide guidance to staff.
• Lead and motivate the sales team to reach targets.

• Manage territory of First National Bank Texas and First Convenience banks; train employees on mortgage loan basics
• Develop contacts with Banks partner store management team
• Take customer loan applications, including pulling credit
• Conduct presentations to include First Time Home Buyer Seminars, realtor sales meetings, product training, etc.
• Communicate with borrowers and real estate agents throughout the loan process
• Issue and explain pre-qualification letters, disclosures and all other initial compliance documentation for borrower; includes Good Faith Estimates, Truth-In-Lending and APR
• Formulate and implement sales strategies and goals to elevate mortgage loan production and meet revenue objectives for assigned team.
• Responsible for the day-to-day oversight of assigned loan origination team
• Provide guidance and feedback to assigned team
• Lead and motivate sales team to successfully reach sales targets
• Assist in the recruiting, training, and managing of assigned staff
• This position may also serve as acting liaison between position locations and corporate management regarding office incidents, business needs, and client concerns.
