Job summary

Wintrust Mortgage is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a team of loan officers, drive production, and grow the business through coaching, partnerships with realtors and builders, and effective sales processes. You will oversee day-to-day loan origination, monitor daily production, and mentor a high-performing sales team while upholding integrity and superior customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years’ mortgage loan origination experience.
• 2+ years’ previous management experience or proven leadership ability.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, and onboard top-tier loan officers with proven referral networks and a strong track record of production.
• Build partnerships with realtors, builders, and other local professionals to establish a sustainable pipeline of purchase business and increase market penetration.
• Leverage existing industry relationships to generate consistent, high-quality referral business and expand the company’s market presence.
• Manage the day-to-day loan origination process from point of contact to closing of the loan.
• Monitor and manage daily production activity to ensure a high level of efficiency and profitability.
• Assist team in cultivating new and ongoing business through referrals.
• Develop and mentor a successful sales team capable of consistently meeting and exceeding monthly stats/production goals.
