A reputable banking institution in Brentwood is seeking a Mortgage Area Sales Manager. In this full-time role, you will establish sales goals, manage a team of 12-20 Mortgage Loan Officers, and drive productivity while ensuring exceptional customer service. Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years of management experience in residential mortgage sales. This position is non-remote and focuses on maximizing the customer experience and sales performance.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in management with 12-20 team members.
• Experience in residential mortgage sales originations.
• Knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA/USDA programs and underwriting guidelines.
• Knowledge of originations operations: underwriting, processing, closing.
• Familiarity with FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA/USDA programs and underwriting guidelines.
• Experience with retail marketing strategy and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Establish production goals and strategies for Mortgage Loan Officers.
• Drive sales productivity and profitability through mentoring.
• Recruit, train, and build a high-performance team.

What You’ll Do

• Goal Setting & Strategy: Establish production goals and strategy for Mortgage Loan Officers. Determine annual goals and reevaluating the goals monthly and quarterly. Determine annual cross sell goals and reevaluating the goals monthly and quarterly.
• Sales & Productivity: Driving sales productivity and profitability through closely working with Mortgage Loan Officers. Motivating and rewarding mortgage consultants through sales calls notating excellent performance results, supporting joints sales calls/ventures. Leading sales and product training in the region ensuring Mortgage Loan Officers are maintaining “best in class” customer service levels.
• Team Management: Recruiting, training, and building a high performance team and retaining top performers, helping them to achieve the established Sales Productivity goals.
• Financial Management: Managing expenses, revenue generation, and profit and loss statement.
• Partnership & Collaboration: Partnering with:
  • The Bank to ensure mortgage and cross sell goals within United Community Bank are being met.
  • Fulfillment/Operations to ensure efficient customer driven production, fulfillment/operations, pricing and delivery.

Requirements For Success

• Experience: 3 years of experience in:
• Management in a proven leadership role managing 12-20 team members.
• Residential mortgage sales originations.
• Mortgage retail sales.
• Mortgage originations operations including loan underwriting, processing and closing functions.
• FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA/USDA programs and underwriting guidelines.
• Marketing strategy and plans in a retail sales environment.
• Net operating income and budgets.
