Job summary

Morgan Stanley Private Bank | Home Loans is seeking a Vice President, Portfolio & Production Analytics, to drive analytics of mortgage production and portfolio performance. You will analyze profitability, growth opportunities, and regulatory reporting while partnering with Finance, Risk and Technology teams.

The role emphasizes ownership, analytical rigor, and ability to translate complex questions into data-driven recommendations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Advanced degree is a plus.
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, origination dynamics and portfolio performance.
• Experience with CCAR, stress testing and regulatory reporting is preferred.
• Financial modeling, profitability analysis, forecasting, and large-scale data analysis experience.
• Proficiency with Excel and BI tools (SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI).
• Ability to apply AI and automation to improve workflows and productivity.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management; ability to present to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive portfolio and production analytics across mortgage originations and portfolio performance.
• Deliver actionable insights by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support CCAR and regulatory reporting, including data analysis and stress testing inputs.
• Develop analytics capabilities: models, forecasting tools, dashboards, and reporting.
• Leverage AI and automation to streamline workflows and improve data quality.
• Partner with Pricing, Sales, Finance, Treasury, Risk, Product and Technology.
• Lead complex ad hoc analyses and translate business questions into data-driven recommendations.
• Continuously improve processes, methodologies, and reporting efficiency.
