Job summary

Ratehub is seeking a Mortgage Agent (Alberta) on our inside sales team to convert leads into closed mortgage transactions. This is a remote role with an option to work in the Toronto office.

You will earn base pay plus monthly commission and start with 3 weeks vacation, plus benefits funded by Ratehub. Ideal candidates are driven, detail-oriented, and capable of building strong client relationships while using mortgage sales tools effectively.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage sales experience.
• Self-motivated with excellent relationship building skills.
• Proficient in using sales tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Take inbound leads online or by phone and convert to closed mortgage applications with support from fulfillment team.
• Ensure a smooth mortgage application process and provide input to improve customer experience, handling complaints as needed.
• Maintain your Certified Mortgage Agent designation.

Ratehub has an opening on our inside sales team for a Mortgage Agent (Alberta) who will be responsible to convert leads into closed mortgage transactions. This is a great opportunity with competitive compensation, including a base salary plus monthly commission.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Taking inbound leads, online, or by phone, and converting them to closed mortgage applications, with the support of the documents fulfillment team
• Ensure a smooth mortgage application process for clients, provide insight and thought to continuously improve the customer experience, handling customer complaints, should they arise
• Maintaining yourCertified Mortgage Agent designation

Required Qualifications, Qualities, and Skills

• 3+ years of mortgage sales experience.
• Self-motivated with excellent relationship building skills.
• Proficient in using sales tools and software.
• Ability to multitask and pay strong attention to detail.
• Analytical: You can break down complex information for our client.
• Resourceful: You may not have all the answers, but you know how to get them.
• Proactive: You are never idle and love being busy.
