Park City Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Specialist for the Stevens Point Branch to help members achieve homeownership and financial goals. You will guide clients through the lending process, analyze financial information, and ensure compliance with regulations while delivering exceptional member service.

The role emphasizes proactive business development, relationship-building with real estate professionals, and community outreach to grow mortgage lending opportunities in our service area.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of conventional mortgage lending, mortgage processing, or related experience.
• Experience with secondary market mortgage products and programs.
• Thorough understanding of residential mortgage products and lending practices.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and business development skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy and organization.
• Commitment to providing exceptional member service and maintaining professional ethics.
• Must have or be able to obtain a National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration number.

Responsibilities

• Solicit new residential and commercial mortgage business for Park City Credit Union.
• Interview mortgage applicants and guide them from application to closing.
• Maintain expertise in lending programs, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with real estate professionals and referral partners.
• Represent the credit union in the community through outreach and networking.
