Job summary

SanMar is seeking a Receiver/Loader to unload and load trailers, following SOPs to sort, palletize and move product. Shift is 5:00AM-1:30PM with a pay of $17.00 per hour in Avondale, AZ.

You will use a Power Jack when needed, maintain a safe workspace, meet accuracy and delivery deadlines, and work with a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Lifting up to 60 pounds and following safety regulations are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred
• Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information
• Basic math skills in counting and quantity required
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a high-demand, high-volume environment and meet deadlines
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to complete Lift Operator Certification every three years

Responsibilities

• Unload and load product by following standard operating procedures.
• May use electric Power Jack to move pallets and/or product as needed.
• Maintain a positive, supportive attitude towards the Company, job, customers and co-workers.
• Meet minimum standards and accuracy standards and delivery deadlines.
• Maintain safe, neat and clean work area by adhering to safety regulations.
