Job summary

SanMar is seeking a Receiver/Loader to unload and load incoming and outgoing trailers by following standard operating procedures, sorting, palletizing, and moving product.

You will work 6am-2:30pm with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour and join a safety-conscious warehouse team. The role requires reading and writing, basic math, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines, both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels and SKUs.
• Basic math skills required for counting and quantity.
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a high-demand, high-volume environment and meet deadlines.
• Teamwork and independent work capability.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Must understand verbal and written instructions.
• Overtime may be required.
• Lift Operator Certification may be required every three years.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load product by following SOPs.
• May use electric Power Jack to move pallets/product.
• Maintain a positive attitude toward company, job, customers and co-workers.
• Meet minimum standards, accuracy standards and delivery deadlines.
• Keep work area safe, neat, and clean per safety regulations.
