Job summary

Eurest at Amgen in Newbury Park, CA is hiring a full-time Cook to join our foodservice team. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–3:00 pm, with benefits after a 90-day intro period. Requires at least 1 year of experience in the food industry and being a team player. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience as a cook in the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and appropriate temperature, ensuring presentation and taste.
• Performs basic kitchen duties and maintains cleanliness and safety in line with HACCP standards.
• Assists in inventory, ordering and receiving of food and supplies as required.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
