Great River Health in Mount Pleasant, IA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide basic resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This role involves supporting daily living activities and maintaining resident comfort.

You will perform personal care, monitor residents, assist with daily living activities, and participate in care planning. Schedule includes 6:00am–2:30pm shifts, every other weekend, and three holidays per year with competitive pay and

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the medical field preferred.
• Provides resident comfort by responding to call lights and attending to needs in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of customer service principles, safety standards, and patient rights (HIPAA).
• Ability to listen, communicate clearly with patients and staff, and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: bath, dress, hair, nails, hygiene per care plan.
• Exercise/restorative care: assist with mobility, positioning, transfers, and rehab activities.
• Elimination: assist to bathroom, maintain continence care and monitor outputs.
• Food service: assist with meals, ensure texture-modified options as ordered, record intake.
