Job summary

Great River Health in Mount Pleasant, IA is seeking a compassionate CNA/Universal Worker to provide basic resident care under supervision of a licensed nurse. You will follow resident care plans, assist with daily living activities, and support comfort and dignity for residents.

The role includes bathing, dressing, meal support, vital signs, mobility assistance, and participation in care plan meetings. Eligible applicants may receive a $2,500 sign-on bonus and a schedule from 2:00pm to 10:30pm,

Qualifications

• CNA license required and active.
• Provides resident comfort by responding to call lights and needs.
• Ability to follow care plans and report changes to nurse.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient rights.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Support mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Assist with meals and maintain dining area sanitation and safety.
