Job summary

The Crescent Hotels Group is looking for a friendly hospitality team member to greet and serve guests, take orders, and ensure quality presentation of meals in a hotel setting. This role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 30 lbs, and collaborative work with co-workers to maintain high service standards.

Responsibilities include prompt order taking, menu knowledge, basic POS usage, and assisting with side work to support overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Must have ability to communicate in English.
Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Can communicate well with guests.
Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

Greet and serve guests according to service standards.
Take and serve guest orders promptly according to the service manual.
Handle necessary set-up sidework as assigned.
Answer guest questions about the menu.
Operate the electronic cash register/P.O.S. system where applicable.
Check food before serving to ensure appearance, temperature and portions are correct.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
