Merrill Gardens at Carolina Park in Mount Pleasant, SC, is seeking a Senior Living Cook for a 5:30am–1pm schedule, Monday–Friday with some weekends as needed. You will prepare meals for residents, follow recipes, and uphold food quality and safety standards.

We look for at least 5 years of quality food preparation and scratch cooking in high-volume settings, plus proficiency with MS Outlook and Word. A high school diploma or GED is required; college degree is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality food preparation.
• Experience in scratch cooking in a high volume, fine dining setting.
• Proficiency in computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, etc.
• 1 – year previous dining experience in food preparation.
• High School diploma required or GED; college degree or equivalent preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assists in preparing all food items following production amounts, proper recipes, and procedures.
• Ensures all food items are prepared in a timely fashion.
• Prepares all food products to ensure highest level of Food Safety and to preserve nutrients.
• Attends all dining services meetings and trainings.
• Maintains kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
