Pet Supplies Plus in Erie, PA is seeking a part-time Retail Pet Store Associate to support customer service and pet care. The role involves friendly greetings, assisting customers with pet food choices, and making product recommendations to meet each pet’s needs.

You’ll operate the POS, process transactions, handle returns, and promote store promotions and loyalty programs. Expect lifting, stocking, and assisting with self-wash stations in a fast-paced neighborhood store.

Responsibilities

• Greet neighbors with a friendly, pawsitively passionate attitude
• Help a new puppy parent pick the right food—or help a regular find exactly what they always forget the name of
• Make thoughtful product recommendations based on each pet’s needs
• Operate the POS system, process transactions, and handle returns
• Promote store specials, loyalty programs, and current offers
• Stock shelves, manage inventory, and keep displays organized
• Lift and stock bags of pet food and supplies
• Assist pet parents with self-wash stations and explain the process
• Restock bathing supplies and keep the store clean and welcoming
• Provide occasional services like walk-in nail trims (training provided)
