Job summary

The Trade Hotel Milwaukee is seeking a Morning Restaurant Server to deliver attentive service and help guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. You will take orders, coordinate with the kitchen, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere at The Trade Hotel Milwaukee.

Starting at $8 per hour, with higher wages possible for experienced candidates, this role offers growth through mentorship, team discounts, and a supportive work culture aligned with NCG

Qualifications

• Three or more months of restaurant experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with a friendly smile and welcoming attitude.
• Take dining room and room service orders; communicating them to the kitchen through the POS system; follow-up with cooks as needed.
• Check in frequently with guests to ensure all needs and expectations are met.
• Prepare checks and post payments using the POS system.
• Remove dishware and clean service and guest areas during and after service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of restaurant areas as needed.

Serve up a memorable dining experience as a Morning Restaurant Server, taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and ensuring every guest enjoys friendly, attentive service.

• Greet every guest with a friendly smile and welcoming attitude
• Take dining room and room service orders; communicating them to the kitchen through the point-of-sale system; follow-up directly with cooks as needed
• Check in frequently with guests to ensure all needs and expectations are being met
• Prepare checks and post payments using the point-of-sale system
• Remove dishware from tables/counters during the dining experience as well as at the end; take them to the kitchen for washing
• Clean and sanitize the service and guest areas of the restaurant as needed
