Job summary

The City of Glendale Recreation division is seeking friendly individuals to provide excellent customer service in a recreation center environment. The role focuses on preparing facilities, ensuring safety, and guiding participants during activities.

Daily tasks include setting up rooms, AV equipment, and arranging tables and chairs for scheduled programs. This part-time position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, a valid driver license, and completion of First Aid/CPR within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must obtain First Aid/CPR Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) and willingness to learn registration software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and set up facilities for daily operation and events.
• Inventory facility supplies and identify items needed.
• Ensure facilities and equipment are safe and ready for use.
• Perform basic maintenance and small repairs as needed.
• Interact with the public and assist in program preparation.
• Perform other related duties as required.
