Eurest at Simmonds Precision in Vergennes, VT is hiring a full-time cook. You will prepare high-quality meals in line with recipes and federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring safe, tasty results.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:30 am to 2:00 pm. Prep cook/sandwich making experience is required, and an internal referral bonus is available. Eurest is part of Compass Group USA and supports diverse teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to recipes and schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery with correct portions and temperatures.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage of food and supplies.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting.
• Assists in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Keeps working relationships positive with coworkers and supervisors.
• Adheres to safety and HACCP standards in all tasks.
