GreatHorse in Hampden, Massachusetts is seeking a Prep Cook/AM Receiver to prep items per recipes and keep deliveries organized. The role supports the kitchen by preparing ingredients, labeling, and maintaining a clean, safe work area; scheduled hours are 6:00 am–2:00 pm, and the facility is non-tipping.

You will wash, cut, and prepare produce, butcher and cook proteins, organize workstations, assist with daily ordering, and ensure FIFO stock management.

Qualificações

• Experience as prep cook is a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends.
• Strong multitasking and teamwork in a busy kitchen.
• Good oral communication and a positive attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Wash, peel, cut, and prep fruits and vegetables.
• Prepare, butcher, and cook meat, poultry, fish, and seafood.
• Organize workstations and follow chef prep lists.
• Present food with proper plate presentation.
• Coordinate completion of menu items and assist with daily ordering.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock quality in coolers and storage areas.
• Ensure equipment is properly cared for and station prep is rotated.
