Typical duties include companionship, assisting with bathing, meal prep, dressing, ambulation, and transportation to appointments. You’ll help with turning and repositioning, stay flexible, and protect client confidentiality under HIPAA.

Qualifications

• CA State HCA certification and Livescan background check.
• TB test completed within 90 days of start.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the USA.
• Physical ability to perform all job functions.
• Safe driving record with valid auto insurance if driving.

Responsibilities

• Serving as a companion to clients.
• Arrives at clients' home on a timely manner.
• Aid with personal care: bathing, oral hygiene, meals, dressing, ambulation.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, activities.
• Turn/reposition patients in beds or chairs.
• Demonstrate flexibility to meet client needs.
• Maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Notify office of any abnormal findings.
• Represent the company with a positive image.
