Job summary

Salus Homecare - Los Angeles is seeking Personal Care Assistants/Caregivers to fill multiple shifts (Mornings, Afternoons, Weekends and Overnights) across the Valley and surrounding areas. You will provide companionship and personal care, assist with bathing, meal prep, mobility, and transportation, while maintaining client confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must have Homecare Aide Certification (HCA).
• TB Test within 90 days of start.
• Must be able to legally work within the USA.
• Physical capability to perform all job functions.
• Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if driving with clients.

Responsibilities

• Serving as a companion to clients
• Arrives to clients home on a timely manner
• Assist clients with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparations and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed
• Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.
• Turning, repositioning and move patients between beds, wheelchairs and seats
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of the client
• Maintains confidentiality of all clients information according to HIPPA standards
• Notifies the office of any abnormal findings or conditions
• Represents the company with a positive image at all times
