Job summary

Hai Hospitality is seeking a Pastry Cook to join our kitchen team, focusing on dessert production for dinner service, including baking, sauce work, chocolate work, and more. This morning to mid-afternoon shift runs from 7am to 3pm, with prior pastry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other employees.
• Detect and identify safety issues, and comply with safety guidelines and standards.
• Lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs, stock inventory, and perform restocking duties.
• Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with dessert production for dinner service.
• Engage in baking, sauce work, chocolate work, and related pastry tasks.
• Maintain a neat, hygienic, and organized workspace and proper storage of supplies.
