Chestnut Hill Lodge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wyndmoor, PA is seeking a skilled Nursing Home Cook to prepare meals that meet residents' dietary needs and deliver nutritious, appealing options. The ideal candidate will work the 6am–2pm shift and contribute to a compassionate, resident‑focused dining program.

You will collaborate with the dietary team, maintain a clean, safe kitchen, manage basic inventory, and help plan menus.

Formación

• Experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and serve meals to residents, adhering to dietary restrictions and nutritional needs
• Assist in menu planning and food preparation, ensuring that all meals are delicious and appealing
• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety guidelines
• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure that all meals are delivered on time and to the highest standard
• Participate in inventory management and ordering of supplies and ingredients
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
