Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a news anchor in a professional broadcast environment.
• Strong editorial instincts and news judgment, with an understanding of what makes a story a First Alert.
• Excellent on-air presence and the ability to deliver news clearly, professionally, and with authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead our morning newscasts — anchoring on broadcast and streaming from 4:30 am to 7 am, and continuing streaming from 7 am to 9 am — with authority, credibility, and a strong First Alert presence.
• Contribute to content beyond the desk — as a working reporter developing and breaking stories, or as an editorial leader helping shape newscast content and direction.
• Engage actively with viewers on social media, including Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
• Make public appearances on behalf of the station as needed.
