Job summary

The Bungalow Kitchen in Tiburon, California is seeking a motivated Morning Grill Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This role focuses on grilling, ensuring quality and consistency in a fast-paced environment during morning shifts.

You will set up and maintain the grill station, follow recipes and portion standards, and contribute to a clean, organized kitchen. Experience on a grill is preferred; this is a part-time position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume restaurant.
• Experience on a grill station preferred.
• Strong understanding of cooking techniques and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items on the grill according to restaurant standards.
• Set up, stock, and maintain the grill station before and during service.
• Ensure proper cooking temperatures, portioning, and presentation.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
• Work efficiently during lunch service while maintaining consistency and quality.
• Assist with prep work and support other kitchen stations as needed.
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and kitchen procedures.

Pay: $22 - $25/hour (depending on experience)

The Bungalow is looking for a motivated and dependable Morning Grill Line Cook to join our kitchen team. We are seeking someone who is passionate about cooking, takes pride in consistency and quality, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

This is a morning position, offering a great work-life balance while working in one of Marin County's premier waterfront restaurants.

Schedule

• Wednesday through Friday: 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• Opportunity for additional shifts on Saturdays and Sundays
• Part-time position with the potential for additional hours

Responsibilities
