Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 months or more of specimen processing or medical/laboratory experience preferred.
• Comfort handling biological specimens and multitasking in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems.
• Send test requests to proper location and release test results.
• Assist clients with specimen-related requests or inquiries.
• Process specimens to be sent to additional facilities.
• Provide support to various areas of the laboratory.
• Perform sample sorting, racking and retrieving.
• Maintain records and keep work area clean and safe.
