Job summary

Labcorp in Dublin, OH is seeking a Reference Test Clerk to join our laboratory team. The role supports specimen processing, testing workflows and customer inquiries while ensuring accuracy and turnaround times.

You will prepare specimens, assist with data entry, and help maintain a safe, clean lab environment. A High School Diploma is required; laboratory or specimen processing experience is preferred. Schedule is Tue–Sat 4:00am–12:30am with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortability with handling biological specimens.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work overtime or other shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for various analysis and testing.
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems.
• Send test requests to proper location and release test results.
• Assist clients with any specimen related requests or inquiries.
• Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities.
• Provide support to various areas of the laboratory.
• Perform sample sorting, racking and retrieving.
• Prepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
