Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Utility Worker to support kitchen and facility operations in a full-time, morning-shift role. The position emphasizes cleanliness, sanitation, and organization across food production and service areas.

You will clean equipment and spaces, restock supplies, and assist with basic set-up and breakdown tasks as directed. The job may vary by account, depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors.
• Remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Restock supplies such as soap, towels, and cleaning materials.
• Walk or move about the workplace; stand for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Attend scheduled shifts and show up on time.
