Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a dedicated Utility Worker to support kitchen and facility operations at Saint Mary's College of California. You will help maintain cleanliness and organization across food production and service areas, handling dishwashing, surface sanitation, and basic setup and breakdown tasks.

Role requires physical stamina, ability to stand for long periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. Full-time employment with varied shifts and comprehensive benefits expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or use a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuums floors; take out trash.
• Restock supplies such as soap, towels, and cleaning materials.
• Assist with basic setup and break-down tasks as directed.
