Job summary

Casa de Fruta in Hollister, CA is seeking a morning shift server to provide excellent guest service at our restaurant. You will greet diners, present menus, take orders, and handle payments with the POS system, ensuring accuracy and a friendly experience for all guests.

Qualifications

• Able to read and write English.
• Prior server experience preferred.
• Able to independently evaluate needs of Restaurant/guests and act to satisfy those needs.

Responsibilities

• Greets diners and escorts them to a table.
• Provides menus and accepts special requests.
• Processes payments with POS and issues receipts.
• Thanks guests and invites return visits.
• Answers guest questions accurately.
• Ensures food safety standards are followed during prep and service.
• Maintains knowledge of menu and standard preparation of items.
• Communicates promotions and upsells to diners.
• Performs side work such as restocking condiments and cleaning.
