GBMC Hospital in Towson, MD is seeking an Environmental Service Associate to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm under supervision. You will assemble supplies, clean rooms, and ensure safe, sanitary conditions in line with policy.

• Ability to work well under time constraints and to work effectively as a team member.
• Courteously greet and exchange information with patients, visitors and staff while performing housekeeping tasks.
• Knowledge and understanding of patient and workplace safety in relation to job duties.
• Ability to follow policies and maintain sanitary, orderly areas.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble cleaning supplies and equipment and transport to work areas.
• Clean assigned areas using various housekeeping tasks (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing, polishing).
• Inspect areas after cleaning to ensure required cleanliness levels are met.
• Prepare cleaning solutions according to instructions on labels.
• Perform routine discharge room cleaning and remake beds with fresh linen as needed.
• Notify team leader of maintenance repairs and store equipment properly.
