Job Summary

We are looking for a Morning Guest Service Representative/Front Desk Clerk (7:00am-3:00pm) responsible for greeting and welcoming guests to the hotel, completing check-in and check-out processes, accommodating special requests, and following established procedures.

Responsibilities
  1. Greet guests promptly and warmly, providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
  2. Verify credit cards, handle cash, make change, and balance the house bank. Accept and record payments.
  3. Complete registration by inputting and retrieving guest information, confirming details, and assigning rooms.
  4. Answer phones clearly, take messages, and communicate with guests. Retrieve mail and packages as requested.
  5. Close guest accounts at check-out, ensuring guest satisfaction and resolving any issues promptly.
  6. Record guest comments or complaints and offer assistance to resolve problems.
  7. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Must maintain regular attendance.
  • May require working varying schedules and holidays.
  • Must comply with hotel rules and regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or related experience.
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the front office area for extended periods.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
