Job summary

Nhccare's Adams Place in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Morning Cook to join the Food & Nutrition Services team. This full-time role prepares, cooks, and serves meals to residents, maintains a clean, safe kitchen, and supports supervision in the absence of the FNS Manager.

You will follow recipes and therapeutic diets, check tray quality, assist with storage and labeling, and uphold sanitation and safety procedures while collaborating with staff, residents, and families.

Qualifications

• Interest in food service and working with seniors or healthcare patients.
• Ability to prepare and cook meals, follow recipes, and learn therapeutic diet requirements.
• Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, proper sanitation and food safety procedures.
• Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
• Leadership qualities and ability to supervise when needed.
• Sanitation course certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Basic computer skills beneficial.

Join our Food & Nutrition Services team and help serve nutritious, high-quality meals to our residents!
Adams Place is seeking a motivated Food Service Cook to prepare, cook, and serve meals while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen. This role also supports supervision and quality control in the absence of the FNS Manager.
