Career Systems Development Corporation in Ottumwa, IA is seeking a Food Service Aide to join a mission-driven team supporting Job Corps participants. The role focuses on food preparation, serving meals, maintaining clean dining and kitchen areas, and operating dish-washing equipment.

Schedule is Monday through Friday from 5:00am to 1:30pm, with every third weekend rotating. Minimum high school diploma; six months of food service preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to three months of food service experience preferred.
• Must meet state or local food handling requirements.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid certificates.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of food and sack lunches, do necessary prep work.
• Assist in serving food and maintain salad bar.
• Clean and maintain dining room and kitchen facilities.
• Operate dish-washing equipment.
• Clean and check service equipment and refill dispensers as needed.
