West Burlington Independent School District in West Burlington, IA, invites applications for a part-time Food Service aide (20 hours/week) for the 2025-2026 school year. The role supports cafeteria operations, food distribution, and clean dining areas.

Under supervision of the Food Service Director, you will help maintain a safe, orderly cafeteria environment, assist with meals, and process small cash transactions. Prior school meal experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in making sure that tables and surrounding areas are clean.
• Assists students with orderly food purchases, distribution of food, disposal of food waste, and return of trays and utensils.
• Reports to teachers, principal, nurse and/or security personnel as appropriate regarding infractions, safety concerns, injuries, or other issues involving students.
• May collect, count, and deposit food services program monies.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.
