Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a part-time Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and maintenance for assigned areas. The role involves a morning shift with duties including sweeping, mopping, restroom care, trash disposal, and light flooring work across client sites.

The position offers weekly pay and requires a high school diploma or equivalent (or up to 6 months janitorial experience). Training is provided to ensure adherence to client specifications and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and objects
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas
• Empty trash and use of compactor for certain materials
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies
• Follow housekeeping schedule
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and backpacks
• Other duties as assigned by scope of work or customer needs
