Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a part-time Janitor to perform general cleaning and preservation of assigned areas within client sites. The role requires flexibility to adapt to varying duties and schedules.

Position offers standard cleaning responsibilities, including floor care, restroom upkeep, window cleaning, and trash disposal, with training provided. Compensation is hourly, with weekly pay and a mix of morning and afternoon shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or six months janitorial experience.
• On the job training provided.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans and manage disposal; use of compactors for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned per scope of work or customer needs.
