Job summary

G&W Electric Co in Romeoville, IL seeks a Team Lead II (5:00am to 1:30pm) to supervise manufacturing operations and ensure on-time production. You will assign tasks, manage material readiness, and maintain quality standards in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include training staff on inspection tasks, coordinating with Engineering on discrepancies, and documenting production activities. Strong reading of drawings and ERP familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, schematics.
• Experience with MS Word and Excel; ERP system desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing employees within an area of responsibility.
• Assign work and instruct operators on proper techniques, quality and safety.
• Check material availability and ensure on-time completion.
• Audit work to ensure adherence to quality procedures.
• Train others in inspection tasks.
• Communicate discrepancies to Engineering.
• Conserve resources and maintain workflow.
• Document actions with production and quality forms.
