Job summary

Wesley Willows in Rockton, IL is seeking a Dining Services Associate to support resident dining needs and meal service. This full-time role runs 6:00am–2:30pm, with alternating weekends, weekdays, and holidays, and offers competitive hourly pay.

You will help prep and serve meals, keep dining and prep areas clean, and follow dietary and infection control guidelines while showing patience and empathy toward residents. A food handler card is required or obtained within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Requires 18 years or older
• State food handlers’ card or willingness to obtain within 30 days
• Experience in food service or long-term care preferred, especially memory care or assisted living
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to work with patience, sensitivity and empathy

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and service to support resident dining needs
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized dining and food prep areas
• Follow dietary and infection control guidelines
• Provide respectful and supportive mealtime assistance
• Observe and report changes in residents’ eating habits
