Diamond Healthcare is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal preparation and service in the in-person dietary department. The position focuses on preparing meals per diet orders and delivering trays while maintaining a clean, sanitary dining area.

You will collaborate with dietary, nursing and therapy teams to meet resident needs, ensure safe food handling, and provide friendly customer service to residents and staff.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or healthcare is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 25 lbs during shift.
• Must comply with facility health requirements and background checks.

Aufgaben

• Assist with preparing and serving meals according to diet orders and portion guidelines.
• Deliver meal trays to residents and assist during dining when needed.
• Set up and break down dining areas before and after meal service.
• Maintain sanitation standards per state and federal regulations.
• Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Label and store food properly following food safety standards.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Work with dietary, nursing and therapy staff to support resident needs.
• Provide friendly and respectful customer service to residents, families, and staff.
