Diamond Healthcare is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation, service, and maintaining hygiene in the dietary department. You will support residents' dietary needs and contribute to a pleasant dining experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, following instructions, and dependable, punctual behavior. This is a part-time, in-person position with weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Strong teamwork and communication skills required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs during shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals according to diet orders and portion guidelines.
• Deliver meal trays to residents and assist during dining as needed.
• Set up and break down dining areas before and after service.
• Maintain sanitation standards per regulations.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Label and store food properly following safety standards.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with dietary, nursing, and therapy staff to support residents.
• Provide friendly, respectful service to residents, families, and staff.
