Job summary

Kids for the Future in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Contract Day Treatment Group Support for part-time mornings (20 hours per week). You will float between classrooms, schedule coverage for both preschool and elementary Day Treatment, and help plan themes and organize materials to support engaging, therapeutic group activities.

Required: High School Diploma; 2+ years working with young children and 1–2 years with emotionally disturbed children preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred in Social Work, MFT, or Counseling.
• High School Diploma required.
• 1–2 years of experience with emotionally disturbed children preferred.
• 2+ years working directly with young children required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily in-group support across classrooms.
• Coordinate scheduling coverage for preschool and elementary groups.
• Plan themes and organize materials for group activities.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment and good space conditions.
• Intervene using CPI methods to ensure safety and calm.
