Job summary

4over, located in Arlington, TX, is seeking an Assistant Cutting Operator (Jogger) to assist the lead in setup, adjustment and safe operation of cutting equipment to prepare products to be packed and to ensure they meet customer specifications. The role requires a High School diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year in a manufacturing setting.

Strong attention to detail, time management and safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Able to read and understand English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and jog paper in preparation for cutting.
• Maintain a constant flow of product to the cutting section.
• Coordinate with cutter operators using professional communication and judgment.
• Arrange incoming batches to ensure an efficient workflow.
• Maintain and update the cutting log.
• Change out and move waste product and recycle receptacles in the cutting areas.
• Support other co-workers as required.
• Report all work-related injuries, illnesses, and/or near misses to management immediately.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
• Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstation are in good working order and safe.
• Report workplace hazards to management immediately.
• Wear all assigned PPE when required.
• Follow and comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• Regularly perform general housekeeping duties in your work area.
• Adhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Attend all department/company meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
