Job summary

The Department of Military Affairs in Richmond (DMA) is seeking a part-time Custodian to perform cleaning duties in a reliable and competent manner. The role is limited to 1500 hours per year and does not include state benefits.

The work window is 5:00am to 1:30pm with some daytime flexibility. Minimum qualifications include knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment, experience with floor care, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, dilutions and cleaning applications.
• Experience with cleaning equipment and procedures.
• Experience with Above-the-Floor Cleaning, including glass, stainless, wood, plastic, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties to keep facilities clean, safe and well-maintained.
• Operate floor buffers and waxing equipment as required.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs to supervisor.
