Job summary

Rappahannock Goodwill Industries is seeking a Full-Time Disabled Daytime Custodian for the Quantico Marine Corps Base shift (6:00am–1:30pm). Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, restroom stocking, and ensuring facilities are well-kept.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, DBIDS eligibility, ability to pass drug screen and background check, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be DBIDS eligible.
• Drug screen and background check required.
• Must communicate in English.
• Ability to read and mix cleaning solutions and chemicals.
• Flexible, fast-paced, multitasking, dependable and timely.
• One to two years custodial experience preferred.
• Experience with a professional janitorial company is a plus.
• Persons with Disabilities Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors.
• Dust, clean, and polish fixtures and furniture.
• Gather and empty trash - replace liners as needed - wipe down receptacles.
• Scrub, sanitize, and stock restroom facilities.
• Clean windows, mirrors, door-handles, switch-plates, and partitions.
• Ensure custodial closets are clean, orderly, stocked, and equipment works properly.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Notify manager of repairs or additional needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
