Job summary

Lenawee Christian Ministries is seeking a friendly Café Team Member for the Centre Café, our public-facing dining area at the Christian Family Centre in Adrian, MI.

You will prepare and fulfill orders, handle the cash register, maintain cleanliness, and deliver Christ-honoring service to guests of all ages. Morning shift from 6:00am to 1:00pm, training provided, and opportunity to serve the Lenawee County community.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or hospitality.
• Food Handler’s Card preferred.
• Must be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and fulfill all food and beverage orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Fill and maintain the ice bucket as needed.
• Wash and sanitize café dishes using the dish machine.
• Complete assigned opening and closing procedures.
• Clean and maintain café tables, counters, equipment, floors, and work areas.
• Provide consistent, friendly, and efficient customer service.
• Interact appropriately and respectfully with guests of all ages.
• Display a Christ-honoring attitude in all interactions.
• Maintain a current Food Handler’s Card and comply with all Health Department guidelines.
